Scheduled - During the yearly UPS maintenance past week, insufficient battery run-time has been observed on the A-Feed UPS of RR.A on sub-distribution UV01. Due to the same, the authorized UPS maintenance company will carry out a replacement of the batteries on the said UPS. The UPS devices on RR.A UV01 Feed-B and UV02 Feed-A+B had no measurable and testable abnormalities, hence they passed the battery tests at a normal voltage / capacity ratio.

Power availability and stability is assured and the device will continue to supply power even in the event of an power outage until the emergency generator takes over the load. However we have decided for a preventative replacement. Therefore, the UPS maintenance company will carry out necessary works to restore regular capacity. No impact to operations is expected, the battery replacement will be carried out on-line and without impact to redundancy or protection.
