Maintenance - RR.A.UV02 - B-Feed Jun 5, 2025 09:30-10:30 UTC
Tornado Datacenter will execute maintenance on the RR.A.UV02 B-Feed. The works are required to carry out maintenance on the RR.A.UV02 B-Feed UPS. The maintenance requires a switching operation on the B-Feed. As the B-Feed switchover can not be executed break-free, the feed will be without power for about 5-10 seconds two times in a row.
Customers should ensure proper power redundancy for cabinets RR.A.R03 and RR.A.R04 cabinet rows. If you are unsure, please contact Tornado Datacenter beforehand.

Datacenter Power Upgrade Jun 12, 2025 08:00-12:00 UTC
Tornado Datacenter will execute a power upgrade of the FRA1 datacenter. This requires a temporary switch-off from the public power grid (Blackout Island Mode). To ensure stable operation, the switch-off will be executed in the following principle:
1. Emergency Generator is torougly tested and serviced in advance
2. Emergency Generator is started and operated without load for 30 minutes
3. After 30 minutes, the datacenter load is transferred onto the generator
4. The datacenter will operate another 60 minutes on generator, ensuring it's stability
5. Electricans will execute the required works to increase electrical capacity towards NSHV (ca. 30-60 minutes)
We do not expect any impact to customers. IT-Load stays UPS protected (A+B) during switching operations, our engineers will closely monitor the whole process.
